I had not heard of it before.

I use the 3118 for light and medium loads and used the 311316 for more powerful loads in the 32-20. I have also used the RCBS 32-098 for light and medium loads with the .32 Magnum. Really didn't have something cast for the .32 Magnum in heavier loads (in a Ruger Super-Single-Six). The 311316 was really too heavy for that. I used jacketed XTP bullet for that.

However, the 311419 looks perfect for that. It is listed as an 88gr SWC with a GC. I will have to cast some up tomorrow while testing my my new B&M mould.

Harry,

My Savage 23C really likes the 311419. 9 gr of SR-4759 or 15 gr or RL-7 work well with it. I haven't tried it in a pistol. It's supposed to be the cast analogue to the old 80-gr factory jacketed hollowpoint.

I've shot a lot of these from 30=30's. 8 grains of Herco or 8.5 grains of unique work very well for a chicken load in the lever action silhouette game. I have also recently tried them in my 32-20. 5 grains of Unique works pretty well, but I'm still in the experimenting mode, so there may yet be lurking some ideal load that I just haven't tried. Maybe now that the weather has cleared up somewhat I can get out and do some more shooting.

Harry,
Some of us have used the 311008 in the 32 Mag. I used it in my S&W M16 with stiff loads of AA#7. The 311316 should be fine if you feel the need for the GC.

I cast up a couple of hundred of them today. It was only that many because I cast with three different moulds today, one at a time. That should be good enough for experimenting. If it works out I can cast more. It certainly looks good.
