I have a Marlin 357 CB that shoots lights out at 50 yards. I could only get one load to shoot at 2" at 100. The chamber was grossly oversized. I could chamber a 362 boolit. I had a friend cut back the barrel and rechamber the gun.

I had previously done the carrier mod that imashooter2 came up withh to feed longer nosed boolits. After I got my rifle back, the nose of the boolit often hit into the chamber. I got to looking at the carrier and the position of the rim, and I realized that the rim could not drop down far enough to let the nose of the boolit enter the chamber. Since I had an extra carrier, I grabbed a file and went to work.

The top carrier in the pictures is the old style carrier with imashooter2's modification. The bottom one is the new style carrier from Marlin with my modification.

It now feeds slick as butter with a boolit with a .325 nose. This is a 160 grain Mountain mold that I hope to be my silhouette boolit.
