Nice looking LW rollingblock, in the US the 32-40 is thought to be a little to much caliber for the original Winchester Low Walls by some folks, if loaded with care and medium to light loads it would make a very nice target rifle, to bad the forearm wood is not as pretty as the butt stock.
Price for the rifle seems OK, I'd have to have any rifle I was going to purchase in my hands before shelling over the $$$$.

I have a new Browning Lowwall chambered in .260 Remington, I do not think you will have a problem with it in 32-40 Winchester with cast bullets for target shooting or hunting.

At that price I would want to know the sights were quality ones(not the Perdosolie ones)other wise it is a very nice rifle with very good NZ history ,I would be very tempted

I was never considering buying this rifle, its out of my league. I was just interested to see what others thought. Its been snapped up for the 2500 buy now anyway so someone has themselves a nice low wall. Rollingblock.

The new low walls are much different than the originals. Much, much stronger. Although this was made in 1920 it SHOULD be well into the nickle steel range, although it may not be. Using it with cast boolit loads should not be a problem. I shot a Ballard #2 (much weaker) in 32-40 using only cast boolits and lite loads...shot like a charm.
