ok so if i use a a center reamer can i ream the fixed chokes of a shotgun
from the front of the barrels

Yes, but chances are the hole will walk and throw the pattern off center. Much better to run the reamer from the chamber end, using an extension bar. The extension bar can be a solid rod with a square keyhole made by drilling a suitable hole in the rod, heating it to a bright orange and forging it over a square mandrel.

For the best result use some sort of guide sleeve over the reamer shank to center the reamer in the bore.

+1. Reaming from the front is a hit-or-miss proposition as likely to result in a straight hole as a crooked one. By the time one messes around jigging everything up to guarantee a good job, one could have done it the right way from the breech end.
