Need help deleting extra photos...

I am positive this is a dumb question, but after uploading a photo for a reply I intended to post, I found the photo was too large, but can't figure out how to delete it. "manage attachments" sounds promising, but I still couldn't delete...

Go back and open your post with the pic, at the bottom right corner of the window you will see an edit button, click that button then you can change anything in your post

Thanks Jake. I'll try that, but it seems that the photos I originally uploaded are still in the system, even though the post disappeared. It may be lurking somewhere, but I couldn't find it, so I retyped the text and posted my reply...
