Hi All,

I bought a "bubba sporter' Mauser. The guy cut the bayonet mount off an allmost totally matching rifle. 20-30 years ago!
I will eather replace the whole stock or cut the front end off the new stock as the orignal stock matches the gun!
I have been told that most lamanated stocks will match Ok

WHAT to do!

I need a fair or good stock & handguard, anyone have an extra around?
It is a 1943 BYF Mauser

Thanks for any help,
broom - If my wife ever kills me, it will be over the last gun i bought!

I had the same thing happen to a Byf44 and they tossed the front metal too:( The metal (not even close to matching) was easy to find . The only stock I was able to fins was for a Naval issue rifle . It cost me near as much as I paid for the rifle parts
I have seen stocks offered at GPC since then that should work for a shooter and are much better priced .

I have one that would fit. It has no cracks or gouges, it came off an Israeli K98k. It comes with handguard and butt plate. Price $50. Call me at 412-372-6475 if you are interested
