I've used it in a Ruger convertible in both the .45 Colt and .45 ACP. It does all right but I have more moulds that I'd rather use./beagle

Not that one, but I have a 454389, which looks very similar except it weighs 185 grains. I use it for my .45 ACP (yes, it feeds very well in all of them) and my .45 AR loads.

I bid on a DC version of 454309 recently on Evil-Bay. It went for more than I wanted to pay. As to performance I couldnt tell you, but thought it interesting enough to try and get one to find out.

Just posted a thread inquiring about this mold. Should have searched back a page or two before I posted and would have saved myself the trouble.

I had a 2 cav. of that boolit years ago, as cast weight was IIRC 235gr, shot pretty fair in my
7.5" NMBH but one cavity was grossley out of gound and not centered in the blocks made
for bad casting sessions all around.
Tried to get it replaced at Lyman but none in stock and no more production.
Mold got treaded at a gun show.

This one may generate enough interest for a group buy.

Peerless cowboy does this mean that you already have one or you have already inquired about it?
