Before the snow started flying, I squeezed in a little range time with my new BC, and as expected this critter shoots a might low. Well....that is a bit understated, it hits waay low with 405gr medium velocity loads at 1800fps, the rear sight pushed all the way up, it is hitting 12"+ low at 100 yards. Mild 1400fps loads are just about right at 50 yards, but the factory rear sight is real high, pushed up till the front of the slider is off the rail. I am thinking about changing the front sight to the lowest Lyman 17 which is .404". I still don't have a shootin' spot longer than 130yds, so changing the front sight for lower may be all I need for now. The Williams rear sight is not bad at all, and hopfully will give me enough adjustment with the lower front sight. Worth a try anyway. Will post my results when weather permits....

0.404" sight is where you need to be.

I bough the optional target sight to get mine on target.
