These are replica moulds. They wouldn't be very easy to use and make allot of Boolits with. The RB should work but I don't know about the conical for sure. Most 32 don't have a tight enough twist and I have never tried with this one. You could get a Lee RM mould for cheaper and would probably be allot happier with it.

Those are not very carefully cut, either. Size is a gamble. Very hot and uncomfortable to use without figuring out how to add handles.

The Ebay mold is designed for the little Colt .31 revolvers, that's why the conical bullet cavity is there. As advised.....don't bother. Most of them cast poorly and hanging onto those brass handles will test your manhood......quickly!

For the asking price you can get a proper fitting Lee mold and they'll back it up with servicing if you have any problems.

Most .32 rifles are about .320 to .325 range. The ball in those is probably .319, which doesn't leave any room for a cloth patch. Lee makes a .311 mould that is OK for the rifle, and Hornady sells boxes of .310 RB which is what I use in my .32.
I would love to find one of the repro colt .32 revolvers with the 6 inch barrel. I know the cylinder would only hold about 11 or so grains of 3F, but I bet it would be a real hoot to shoot. That mould would be fine in a .32 revolver.

It’s snowing in East Texas and I’m sitting here by the fire.

This talk of 31 cal Baby Dragoons reminded me of the time, (late 70’s) I ordered a Baby Dragoon kit from Dixie Gun Works and built this:

It came with a 6 inch barrel. But I cut it down as short as I could and still have enough leverage to reload. No front sight because I built it to conceal on my motorcycle.

This was before concealed carry permits. Hoped, if the lawman found me with it he would just laugh and take it away from me.

My boolits are “00” or” 000” buckshot. I Can’t remember which. [actually "single ought"]

Now just to confuse you more
I have an 1849 colt that uses .320 diameter round balls
My 32 caliber Tc uses either .310,.311 or .315 round balls. the last is what TC recommends for their 32 caliber rifle.
I would think that I could use the .319 lee in my pistol also as .001 difference is going to be real hard to notice.

My Lee .319 comes out more like .320/1 anyway and you are probably right that .001 won't make much if any difference.

The only way to see if it will work is to cast with it. I have many and now when I get one (usually as a gift or in a trade) I just put them in a cased set to look pretty. For the 31 revolver, buckshot is as good as anything if it fits. For a rifle, mine likes .310 wrapped in linen. But those I cast because I want them as uniform as possible.
