Anyone making and selling already made slugs....OR...does anyone know of a mold that can cast me a slugs such as this...http://www.beartoothbullets.com/images/bullets/BTB-44-250K2.jpg except in a hollow point.

Id like to end up with a product thats "about" 240 grains ( + or - ).

I don't have what you are looking for but I will in about four weeks. I am about to send off a 260 grain mould to get hollow-pointed by Erik Ohlen and the goal is a cup-point style hollow-point with an as cast weight of ~245 grains.

Remember, to end up at 240 grains with a hollowpoint, you need to start off with a mould that casts about 255-260 grains if you want to go the conversion route.

Hollow pointing a 240 grain Semi Wadcutter will give you a 220 grain hollow point (give or take).

Sully,
NOE makes a 429421 clone in their RG2/4 (HP) mould configuration. Check Vendor Sponsor Sales. They may have them in stock.

looks like a Kieth boolit
lots of mold makers make molds
in that style
some have hp already or you could send it off to have a hp
modification done to it
Tom @ Accurate Molds has some excellent reproductions of the Keith
style of boolit
and can be made of brass ...

If you send a RCBS 250K mold to Erik @ HPMS, & have it cup pointed, the finished bullet should be very closet to 240gr w/ 25-1 or 50/50 alloy. The Lyman Dev mold casts right around 250gr, but the gas check turns some off.
