here is a pic of my martini project waiting for a 44 cal barrel. i was going to
make and inlet a brass folding lever in the pistol grip for a safety. the KISS
principle and lazzaness won out on useing a rare earth magnet. this one is 1/2 in
in dia and 1/8 in thick. by puting it in a cup, the pulling power is 4 times greater.
u don,t pull this sucker off, u slide it off. i put some eurathane gob on the back side for obvious reasons and 2 coats of contack cement on the magnet side so as not to scratch the bluing.

in this next pic is the trigger overtravel button that i riveted on the trigger guard. it,s taped #6-48 so i can use scope base screws.
