I am starting to reload for a 33 WCF in model '86, a later model. It is being shot at this time but at 2.50 a factory round it is time to reload with cast. I have been to Hawke and Paco and the info is scanty. I will be using 200 and 250 grain cast. I need to have some loads. I am not on load data at this time. HELP

don't forget that this case is parented by the 45-70, from which it may be formed.

i have had a lust for this round since my uncle had an ol 86 so chambered and claimed that this shot bullets at the speed of sound and light and was so flat that its a wonder that the thing ever stopped flying.

lol he was led to other exagerations as well but seriously i would like to read about your experiments with this grand ol cartridge. maybe when i get tired of the 45-70 craze im on...ill actually get an 86 and try this 33 out for myself.

thanks for the question and welcome to the forum...lots of wize folks here and you will get some sage advise for the most part here. have a blast and please do post your results for the rest of us crusty ol farts who maybe need a boost over what ever kinda hump we happen to be cought on.

The way you know a cartridge is a flat shooter is when it comes around full circle and hits you in the seat of the pants ..........
