Adams & Bennett barrels

Gentlemen;

I'm thinking of re-barreling my M1908 Mauser to 7x57 with a new Adams & Bennett barrel from Midway since the issue barrel is pretty much scrap.

Does anyone know what the dimensions of the A&B "F54" contour are?

FAsmus the F54 contour is a heavy varmint contour .830" at the muzzle, the F34 is what they call sporter and at .650" muzzle

I have built three rifles with F54 barrels.
If you use iron sights, you will need the AUG front sight to use with a reciever sight.
I like them, they very comfortable to shoot.

Where did you find a listing for a 7mm barrel in F54 contour? A&B has not listed that chambering in F54 for several years.

In this project I imagine using a Lyman 17A as front sight (suitable in height for the barrel/receiver as assembled). How does this compare with your "AUG" front sight - which I'm not familiar with at all?

Thanks for the post about Sporter Express - I went there and I'm interested in their offering of military profile replacement barrels .. but this machine of mine or possibly their site did not provide necessary details like barrel length or rifling twist. ~ I did post them a question so we'll see by-and-by what gives.
