It'll depend on the age of the wheel weights and your casting temp but my 50/50 alloy comes out at 11-12 BHN, measured a few days after casting. Could be all my "lead" is not pure lead. Most of my soft lead is stick on WW metal, sinkers and what looks to be flashing. My casting temps are on the high side... 750-800F depending on the mold. All my wheel weights have been collected within the last 10-15 years. The neat thing about an alloy of this nature is that the BHN can be cranked up to 29 with a 500F convection oven and a bucket of ice water. If you decide a little softer boolit is in order, a 1/2 hour anneal at 250-300F with a slow cool-down will net you something in the 14-19 BHN range.

With my LBT tester, after about a week, my water quenched WW's rate anywhere from 18-20.
