Cast boolit load for deer/hogs 30-30

Just cast up a few boolits for my 10" Contender 30-30 in a new Lee 309 150 FN Gc mold from 75-25 WW and pure. Still lack sizing, gas checks and lube.
Anybody have any good starting info for this boolit in the Contender for deer and hog huntin'?
I have BLC2 on hand and am heading to a Gunshow this weekend so powder info would be helpful. Any thoughts on expansion qualities for this alloy mix? They were water dropped.

Just use std 30-30 loads, don't try to compensate for the shorter barrel by using fast burning powders. I wouldn't use water dropped bullets in this application. Expansion will be iffy, depending on the distance you plan to shoot. I compared the velocities shown above with my Lyman manual and believe Hodgdons data may have been developed in a 14 inch barrel. You might want to chronograph the loads you work up so you know where you're at.

I made 25 soft-pointed Lyman #311041 castings for my Win 94 x 30-30 WCF, loaded them over 32.0 grains of WW-748, and they never went hunting. Darnit! Now I'll have to expend them on jackrabbits or steel coyote silhouettes. Hate that.

Should I go back and anneal the tips to soften them up some? I can get a light scratch with my fingernail on them.
I have the dedicated Thompson Contender load data book, so I'm guessing the 150 gr data for the Lyman and RCBS molds listed there would be a good starting point. Also picked up the Modern reloading book by Lee today and he shows some data there for the 150's too. I'll work up a few and chrono them over the weekend if the rain holds out.
