Lee cruise missle idea

I have tried about every idea that I can think of that I feel safe with in my 6.5x55 Swedeand still recreate the famous military tumbling bullet combo. I was wondering about having some one mill off to the top of the secong GG making the mould plain based for a plinking load. If this is a good idea, even having one cavity hollow pointed for a varmit thumper. Any one tried this and do you think it will work?

I did it and it didn't work, still tumbles. Traded a bunch to another member and he uses them in his Carcano, says they work great. Go figure.
