I never paid any attention when I bought solder to actually use it for it's intended purpose. Now I went today and there must be 4 different mixes from lead solder to X % to lead free.... which one do I want for mixing with lead???

Its all good . Just pay attention to the percentages of composition so you can know what your alloy is made up from

the best would be 95/5 which is 95 tin 5% antimony .... or any with a high tin content the first number is tin the lead is the second number in most cases if not stated it is probably lead rather than antimony the tin antimony is great to help heat treating ( hardening ) or water quenching bullets you only need 2-3 % to cast nice filled out boolits though so 63 /37 would likely be 63% tin 37% lead :killingpc
