need load starting point suggestions

just finished pan lubing my first batch of lee 300gr flat nose gas check boolits for a 454 casull. I want to use 2400 powder as I already use this powder for other cartridges. This will be for a super redhawk with a 71/2" barrel. I will also be reloading 45 colt brass with the same bullet and powder, I would like suggestions for both.

i have several 454 casulls and cast 300 grgc , 275 gr tc and 260 fngc bullets for them , however i dont use 2400 powder or 45 LC cases in the casull even with loads in the 900+ fps range as mine are freedom arms revolvers . and its not recommended by them in there revolvers! but will be ok to use 45 lc in your pistol !
i have had excellent results with tight group powder with loads from 900 up to 1,200 fps with any of the 3 cast bullets without gas checks installed . and i use surplus 820 , 296 or H 110 for loads over 1,200 fps to max with gas ghecks
