This could go in Projects or WTB, but I'll post this here since it's a military rifle situation. I have a Longbranch No.4 Mk1* that was sporterized by cutting off the forearm just under the barrel band. Some day I may find a good dark walnut Canadian forearm to restore the rifle, but in the meantime I've decided to consider attaching a reasonably matching forearm tip to the cut off forearm I have. If you have a No.4 dark walnut forearm that is in poor condition behind the barrel band groove but in good shape forward of the groove, or if you have a forearm tip you cut off an Enfield when you sportered it, as long as it includes the barrel band groove, please PM me a description; photos would be great. Dark walnut would be the best match in color and grain. If you have a complete Canadian walnut forearm you would part with, by all means PM. Thanks.
