thanks to whoever came up with the leementing idea. Can't remember which post or thread I got the info from, but after resorting to pushing the bullets out with an icepick, I was about to throw it away.
After coming here and going thru the leementing posts, I went back and polished the cavities with pumice and water with some junk bullets I had tried to cast.
took all of 15 minues.
Wiped the cavities out with a rag and acetone and went to casting. They fell out from the git go, and after about 10 bullets, the fill was as good as can be expected.

thanks
Brian

Yup works great! I use comet cleanser and drill a small hole in the bullet base, put in a screw, cut the head off and chuck it in the drill, keep it nice and moist and it works very, very well...

Yep it certainly fettles the mould and makes them useable. Just a shame that Lee can't make moulds that work out of the box.

Ditto the Comet Cleanser.

Go real slow with the drill. You want a Comet slurry, not to thick or thin.

I used black emery compound {greased based} like use to polish parts and a felt Bob on my die grinder.

I am sure it would have made quick work out of aluminum even the gray emery would do white rouge would polish a good mould to where they would jump out
