What is the normal pressure limit for the New Vaqueros ????

Surely it's more than the 45 LC 14,000 PSI !!! ( I'm thinking maybe 19 to 20,000 )

Thanks,
Gene

Something I saw on another forum and did not know myself is that Ruger is chambering the 45 Colt New Vaquero for the 45 ACP with an extra cylinder.
The Speer manual says the SAAMI pressure average for the 45 ACP is 21000 psi.
Now how does one explain the 14000 psi limit people wants to set for the New Vaquero when Ruger is chambering an extra cylinder for the 45 ACP for Davidson's?
Something is kinda funny don't you think?

Here is a long post on the subject. Good info along with the usual forum BS and ego spattered about.

Here is Brian Pearce's take on things. He states the Ruger New Vaquero will handle the 20K range. I use 12.0gr of HS-6 in mine for 1,000fps with a 270 SAA.
