Midsouth has hard to find Lee molds in stock...

22 bator
6.5 Cruise missle 170gr
7mm soup can 130gr
8mm Karabiner 215gr
8mm Karabiner 225gr

For you guys that use these. I've been watching a .22 Bator on fleabay today and it's already over $20............

Just a heads up if anyone has been looking for these molds.

Thanks for the lead, I took a look and I think I'll go over and order the215 Karabiner, and the C225-55 as it's a six cav. and will save a lot of time.

I snagged a 6 cavity 22 Bator, as I've had really nice results with my 2 cavity mold.

Thanks for the heads up. I had been trying to catch them with stock n the Bator molds for a few years. I just ordered one and also a 7mm soupcan.

My pleasure guys, ran into them by accident and couldn't believe Midsouth HAD all of these.

Now if a guy had some money all he needs to do is buy them out of the 'bators and the ebay them. I see guys paying stupid prices for the elusive .22 Bator molds there sometime..........

Yes Sir Mark. I had to blink twice and change to the good bi-focals to read the page again. Midway has had zero of these molds lately and I couldn't believe Midsouth had them all.

.....wait, it's a computer error and they're being listed as in-stock when it really should say "out of stock, backordered"..................<grin>

Thank you so much for the update. I had a notification set up for this if it came in but did not get the notification.

Anyhow I got the 2 cavity mold. I will probably end up loving this and wishing I had got the 6 cavity but oh well, by the time that happens it will most likely not be in stock anymore..

It was sent right after the confirmation, reading more carefully it is good for orders over $125 only and up to 50 lbs only, so it is not for the orders we just made. Bait on a hook.

Lots of the ebay stuff goes overseas and they have difficult/impossible buying direct
from US mail/net order firms. For them it is cheap, and most important AVAILABLE
as local suppliers in many foreign countries have huge markups over USA prices -
maybe import duties & taxes maybe just ADP (Additional dealer profit), plus
carry a lot few items.

Plus Midsouth is making new customers pay for a year by bank transfer or money order before allowing them to use their credit card. I can see why some people would just go to eBay and pay more to get the mold quicker.

I have purchased a few things from Midsouth but it seems like their shipping/handling was always a lot higher than most.

I find their slightly higher shipping nicely offset by their lower prices, at least compared to midway, which is the other place I order from.

I saw they had these in stock a couple weeks ago but couldn't order anything then, I checked again last night & was amazed to see them still listed as in stock! So I ordered a Bator 6 banger today :^) I can cast pretty darn fast with my 2 gang Bator (about 150 per 1/2 hour) & expect to really crank them fast with the 6 gang, I wish they would make a 180 or 20 0 grain .30 cal 6 banger for that price!

Those guys at Midsouth did their usual great job and my UPS guy abandoned the package on my front poarch yesterday afternoon IN THE RAIN AGAIN without bothering to knock as usual when I was less than 10 feet from the door .I have been a happy customer of Midsouth for several years now and they have never screwed up a shipment to me. On the other hand, UPS screwes up every time.
