I had asked about this rifle previosly, but now some new concerns. It looks as though someone shot steel balls through it. The lower (breech) end lands looks as if they were beaten with a hammer.T/C does not have a carbine barrel. Can the lands be recut.Remind you that it is refered to as a system 1 inline, the grandfather of todays inline? I'm all ears.

Hmmm,How does it shoot now? If a direct replacement is not to be had that leaves 4 choices.
1.refresh the existing, this will require you going to a biger bullet.
2.Reline to whatever size you want
3.Having a custom barrel fitted to your action.
4.Live with what you have
Bobby Hoyt in Pa has relined barrels for me.A breech loading Smith and a Gallager CW carbine in .50 for 125 bucks each. He says he can recut a existing barrel also.
Fitting a new barrel I assume a bunch of gunsmiths can do this.Just a labor charge and price of a new barrel.Prices ?????
Maybe you could lap out what you have? I have seen some pretty crummy barrels shoot pretty good. Guess it all depends on what you want to spend to bring this carbine back.
