I have a line on a T/c 32-20 barrel. I would like to use it for IHMSA field pistol. Any suggestions on moulds?

I have a TC 32-20 with a 10 inch barrel. I use a 118 gr LEE flat nose, almost a wadcutter. I drive it about 12 to 1300 fps. Shoots 1.25" at 100 with a 6x scope. I tried a 115 pointed Lyman boolit and it didn't shoot near as well.

You do know the bore is really .308? Any 30 cal boolit will work.

Mark, I have not tried any cast in my 30-20TC. But I have shot some of the RCBS 165 sil. bullets and some of the SAECO RG-4's out of my BF in 30-20. I didn't really do any load work to speak of, so I won't go into any details as to accuracy, although myself I am pleased with it. AA#9 is still my favorite with this, just backed off my jacketed loads in the TC and went with that. The RG4's will take the rams over as will the 165's but they can be iffy some times. Bob and I talked this past month and I grabbed a 311410 mold, save the 4 on gas checks for FP. I am going to try it on full sized stuff as well and see what happens there.

Went over to the Sillywet board and there is a fairly long thread on in the big bore load section on the 30-20. Now to see if I have saved enough money to pick up the barrel. By the way, a shooter down here has several barrels for very good prices. A 22 hornet caught my eye and I think Bud picked up a .222 barrel with a nice scope for a little bit of pocket change. I do have a lyman 225415 that I was thinking about using in a hornet. Decisions, decisions.

Well, the .32-20 barrel is not going to happen. Last match, one of my shooting buddies mentioned that my spotting scope really stunk. My wife concurred. I came across a Burris spotter on ebay for a reasonable price and disposed of all of my desposable income. On the plus side, with all of the household jobs that have piled up, I really don't have time to do much sperimentin. I have a chilean mauser languishing in the dark recesses of the safe along with a .38 special project for a friend.
