Deputy Al,
You have any experience with one of these. It's a 32 browning cal and is a cross between a 1911a and a TT-33. Just picked it up today. Already have molds and brass for 32 so I am looking for any input. I load 32 ACP for my 1895 Nagant's 32 acp cylinder.
Thanks, Mark

None at all, other than pics seen in ads about the same time the CZ-52's were offered for sale. I am very fond of 32 ACP's, and have several of them in the safe. USA factory loads are pretty weakened when compared to European loadings--with the 71 grain FMJ, most USA loads barely manage 800 FPS, while Euro loads run closer to 950-975 FPS.

With my stronger 32's, I run Lyman #313249 (84 grain RN with full-caliber shoulder) to ~825 FPS using 2.5 grains of Unique. I cut that back to 2.0 grains in the weaker platforms (e.g., Steyr M-1908), but the 2.0 grain load will function the strong ones fine.

Is the CZ-70 a blowback, or recoil operated? Both of the comparison examples are recoil-run, I was wondering about that.

Al,
Looks to be blowback as the slide stop doesn't fit into a link pin like the TT-33. The slide pin stop does have a groove that the recoil spring guide fits into. No locking ribs on the slide or barrel either. Really heavy however. I'll hopefully get to shoot it next week-end. Thanks for the info. Mark

Cool deal, Mark. I have a 7.65 MAS/M-1935 French pistol, and it's a toggle-link Browning-type locked breech design. It looks like a SIG P-210 that shrunk in the wash externally, and a lot like a 1911A1 internally.
