I have a Taurus revolver that is locked up. The problem is the pin in the center of the cyl. is suppose to lock it into place but every time I close the cyl it gets jammed into the cyl. and won't come out to lock it in. What I need to know is how to take the cyl apart to fix it. Most of the break downs look like the rod coming out of the cyl is screwed in but on the break down on this model it doesn't show any threads. This model is a SS 357 5 shot with a 2" barrel. Your help would be appreciated!

Give Taurus a call. Some folks have good luck with their warranty deparment, the should fix it for free if it is a newer unit IMO. Doesn't Taurus have lifetime warranty ? I dunno. Bummer. I had a few Taurus made pistols, they where OK, but I never got attached to them. Good luck.

If its screwed in, it could be LEFT or Right hand thread, don't try too hard either way.

Tarus does have a lifetime warrenty.
