Just bought a 4C Saeco mold (#955)
Priced Saeco handles (ouch)
Anybody know if Lee 6 cav. or RCBS or Lyman handles would fit?

IIRC, Lee handles oughta work if the mounting holes are drilled out to 3/16"
RCBS handles are not as thick and the mounting holes are even smaller and closer to the edge than Lee's.
Lyman 4 cav handles are even thinner than the RCBS.

Thanks,
Guess I will just bite the bullet and order Saeco handles from Midway. Just frosts me that a new mold will be in my hands in a day or two and I will not be able to put it to use for a week or two.

I would advise that you purchase the Saeco handles. I have four sets and sixteen Saeco moulds. Correct handles makes casting much more enjoyable. Midway has decent prices on the Saeco mould handles.

This is my set of Saeco handles. Couldn't bring myself to pay for the actual Saeco ones, so I just drilled the screw hole in a set of Lee handles out a little bit so the Saeco mounting screw would fit and they work just fine. marked them with an S on the end so I know they are for Saeco molds and I don't get them mixed up with the other Lee handles I have. Didn't have to do anything else to them and they work perfectly fine.
