:( Am I going mad or has the world I woke up in today gone mad.

I had a simple question for gooooooogle to search for "Rifle Chamber Reamers"! I received 612 hits and 611 of them appear to be about music. :(

What the heck has music got to do with reaming chambers in rifle barrels?

I have here a link to Clymers so I checked out their site and did the figures for a custom reamer, now I would like to check them out against the opposition. :coffee:

Would any of you sane people out there in cast boolit land have a link to their favourite Chamber reamer manufacturer? Please?

John.

This company rents reamers and headspace gauges. I don't know if it will work out working with them from OZ, but I have been told that they are easy to do business with.

Call Dave Kiff at PTG reamers - phone number 541-826-5808 and he can fix you up with anything you want.

Try google for chambering reamers and you'll get pertinent replies. Regards, Woody

Looks like it was picking up on chamber, as in chamber music.

Just leave off the quotation marks, you get a lot of good results.

Thank you everyone, there is enough for me to work through. I have a reply from Clymer and I can try the other companies to check their quotes.

Hopefully, I can get this project back on the rails.

John.

Manson Reamers is pretty good to work with. I have a Manson 38-55 reamer that cut basic 2.08" chambers and I sent it back to Dave and he modified it so that it will cut up to a 2.234" chamber. He's usually pretty understanding of specialty things you might want done.

I don't know, "Rifle Chamber Reamers" doesn't sound like a bad name for a band.
