to those who wait , or so I've been told.It appears to be true .Last week I was just minding my own business ,I stepped out the front door ,and saw two small boxes sitting on the step .I opened them to find they were both full of WW! My neighbor was setting them aside for me at work and just dropped them off for me ..about 10 + lbs.
This week whi.e traveling my sales route i saw one customer that uses quite a bit of babbit for attaching blades in a log chipper .He had about 20 lbs of scrap in a box which he gladly gave me to get rid of it.
Today continuing my route I stopped to see another customer and we got talking about shooting and hunting etc ,and he asked me if I needed some lead. I said sure ,what have you got ? He said he had some old WW in the back that have been there since he bought the place 15 yrs ago. He had tried to get rid of them but nobody wanted em. He takes me to the back of the shop and he has a whole assortment of brand new unused WWs from tiny little 1/8oz all the way to big truck weights :-D I took em all (you know ,as a favor) Iguess there to be about 75lbs there.
So altogether I have had about 120lbs of lead handed over in the last 2 weeks without really even going looking for it .... yay for me!!:drinks:

Trade the new ones to a service station guy you trust for about 3 - 1 used to new.

I considered that but wondered if it being old stock ,would it be a better quality (ie harder) and therefore beneficial to keep.

Volume man, volume.

Especially as hard as it is getting io find WW. You can always harden boolits other ways.
