pocket reamer question

are these necessary if you swage the primer pocket. or will the swager do a good enough job

I tried the Lyman reamer first and got tired of the mashed and cattywampus primers. Then I got the C-H punch and base swager and never looked back.

I spent countless hours and a lot of blisters cutting out primer crimps before I finally invested in an RCBS primer pocket swage. Now the cutting seems kind of crude.....

I use the RCBS and still find I have to chase out the hole with a Lyman cutter a tad. I would get both.
