Anyone got one?

I have my name on the list for the next one my dealer gets.

Always wanted and never got a Grendel P30 and this may be better.

That looks like a neat pistol.
Interesting to see if it actaully works out.

I have one back ordered for a customer for several months now. If they work, should be a handy trail / farm / plinking gun.

Ruger will probably come out with a clone now just like they did with the LCP 380.

Yeah, but the Ruger clone will be made of stainless steel and have a 10 round magazine.

Here's one review, with videos, by Jeff Quinn at his Gunblast.com web-site:

ps, I've been occasionally looking for one of these too, and haven't found one listed in stock at the various on-line retailers yet. :groner:

Kel tec released them and then pulled them back due to serious reliability issues. They are bad about releasing products before they are ready, but they usually make it right in the end. Like the RFB...

Paid for my 30 shot 22 magnum rimfire pistol today.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation says I can bring it home next Wednesday.
A field report and accuracy and function test will be forthcoming.

Where did you find one!?

Got it right here in beautiful downtown Centralia Washington.
This is the third one they have sold.
I do some smithing on their guns and don't charge them an arm or leg so I get special treatment on availability and pricing.
If you go to the Kel tek site they have the whole story on the production of their guns. It seems that they can't make them fast enough along with their other stuff.

Years ago my shooting buddy had a AMT pistol in 22 mag all stainless steel, that was the loudest pistol in doors I've ever heard but had zero recoil was an oddbll to shoot because of the noise.
I'm likeing the Kel Tec 22 mag, on my wish list for sure.

Thanks for that link, Hiram. I've gone to their home page and saved the URL in my favorites gun info folder.

I have a Freedom Arms .22 mag that fits in my belt buckle, (buckle came with it) You should come over and shoot it and see if the AMT is still the loudest!
I always take it to the range and let the superduper gun gurus there shoot it. Ussually they only do once. On a side note, I have been searching the world over for a good deal on one of the AMT's.

My wife's uncle has one of the AMT long slide 22Mags and that thing is LOUD!!! It has no recoil though and is accurate!

Unfortunatly Archie died a few years back, I've always wondered what happened to the guns. He did have a couple of sons so maybe they stayed in the family.

I understand that High Standard is making the AMT Auto Mag II now.
I traded my AMT 22 magnum for a FN 49 rifle recently and am pleased that I got the oppurtunity to get the Kel Tek to replace it.

Tomorrow is the day woo hoo.

here's a good review with range footage. CCI mag ammo fed the best.

Ten minutes ago.
My wife said it looks like a toy pistol. And it does. This gun is light.
Loaded three different rounds of ten each. Hard to load the last two or three rounds in the magazine. Shoots four inches low at fifteen yards. Just shot off hand and now need to bench it.
Trigger is light and hard to anticipate as it is soft and not crisp in the let off.
No problems in function, feeding or ejection. Very little soot or fouling on or in the gun after thirty rounds.Straight out of the box it works perfect.
I am pleased.
You guys and gals need one of these!

Looseprojectile, glad to here your range report but I'm curious was it loud? I'm mean sound like a 44 mag but kick like a 22?

I had to wait. We all did. I'm seventy two now. Have I waited long enough?
Actually that time will pass very fast and you will wonder where it went.
That is what we old timers call our mis spent youth. It really is too bad that youth is wasted on the young.
For me long guns are more interesting anyhow. I only have six or eight handguns.
I was already a confirmed gun nut when in my early teens.
