In this Nov. 29, 2010 photo provided by Scott Warner, Lester Warner, 86, poses with an 8-point buck he shot on his son's property near Broad Top City, Pa. Warner recently stopped receiving treatment for an advanced form of cancer, and his son brought a recliner to the mountain so he could hunt comfortably.

i am thrilled to say i heard about it first on our local christian radio station! people ARE paying attention to the behavior of gun owners, and stories like this shed a proper light on the real nature of most gun owners!!!

This man is a true inspiration to us all.

Best part of the story: Lowering the gun, Warner turned to his son and said: "Never give up."

Have always had the goal of being shot by the jelous husband of a 21 year old bride as I was going out the window, with the stipulation that he be a good shot, as I wouldn't just want to be wounded. Clean kill or nothin! However, that said, probably isn't going to happen, so------would be more than satisfied to go the way that Lester Warner is doing it! Nice Buck! Hope he takes another from the recliner next year and the year after.
