With 348 gas checks being relatively rare to find, is it feasible to use 357 gas checks instead ?

I saw on another thread that 9.3 bullets use 375 GC instead. Swaging down a .357 GC to .350 probably wont be such problem but keeping them concentric when sizing & lubing might be a bit tricky.

Anyone have any views or practical experience with this sort of thing ?

I use 375 for the 9.3 and it works just fine, no problem with concentricity, I think you won't have any problem using the 35's for your 348.

Buffalo Arms has 348 gas checks. I recently bought 5000 from them. They cost more than 358 ,but they have them.Good luck Jeff Taylor.

Lock, Stock and Barrel had them for around $15 a thousand last month, I got a couple thousand just to have on hand.

Gents - thanks for the feedback. I'll order some 348 GC's. It is comforting to know that 358 GC's also work fine if need be.
