32-20 Uberti Low Wall ............

First of the year I'm going to order this Low Wall ! I think the 32-20 would be a fun round to shoot and also do
50-100- 200yd matches Now that could be a blast! What do you think????

44s are my favorite caliber ! I'm thinking my wife may want to sit down and do some target shooting!!! and I can load for this little guy ! She has a 1921 Olympic single shot 22 ! and I don't think she will go for anything bigger ! which is Ok by me !!! Got to get her shooting more!!!!!!

In that schuetzen style, the only calibers I'd consider would be the .32-20 WCF and the .22LR. None of the other calibers would be a good choice for schuetzen or offhand matches or shooting.
That's a great looking gun, and if it shoots well too, it should be a lot of fun in .32-20!

I've got one of the Cimarron Low-wall .32-20s (also made by Uberti) and it's really a great shooter. Mine has a single-trigger, straight stock, and a tapered, 30", full-octagon barrel. So far as 'easy to cast for'...my Lyman 31108 drops just a hair over .312 and, after PC, I size to .313. Accuracy is better than 'good'...a lot better! I put a Lee Shaver tang/Lyman 17A sights on mine and, off a 'field rest' (towel rolled on top of a .50 cal. ammo can), 1 1/2"-2" (10 shot) groups are pretty much the norm...if I'm having a good day . Excellent shooter for the wife, too...low muzzle blast, nil recoil, and light enough for an average-sized woman to handle without strain.

I'm getting the impression it's going to be a job to locate one like pictured!!! Most dealer sites are OUT of STOCK WoW.... If you have any suggestions
on where to go I'm all ears !!!! This will happen ......Was kinda of thinking after the X-Mas season !!! But when it's time to jump It's time !!

Did you try Dixie Gun Works ? They carry a good bit of Uberti stuff . If they don't have it in stock maybe they can order you one right quick .

The .32-20 is as easy to cast and load as it comes. A .312 bullet of 100 or so grains, some 2400 (I use 9.4 grains in pistol and rifle) and a primer, rifle or pistol (does not seem to matter). A 4 or 5 cavity 105 grain bullet mould from Accurate will make a sack full of bullets in an hour. That combination is very satisfactory in my 1914 Colt Army Special, Uberti 1873 revolver and 94 Marlin. Does well in leveraction matches and I have left a lot of dead porcupines and skunks with a few coyotes lying on the prairie.

Been shooting the 32-20 for....over 35 years I believe. The ONLY problem I ever had with the cartridge or casting for it is when I got ham handed during the case sizing. The case does have a thin mouth and neck and if you mess up you will know immediately. It's also easy to over crimp but a trip through the sizing die will cure that. Other than that it's as easy to load as an other "slope shouldered" case, as Skeeter called it. It's been one of my favorites since the first SAA I bought in that cartridge.

Lovely rifle...great little cartridge that in the right firearm can do everything any of the newer 32's can do. My Buckeye Ruger with the 32-20 and 32 H&R cylinder is a tack driver with 5 grs. of Unique and the RCBS 98 gr. SWC. It's unlikely the 32 H&R cylinder will ever be used. My EMF clone of the SAA shoots as good and a re-lined Mod. 92 Winchester shoots almost one hole at 50 yards. I'd think with a little heavier bullet with a different profile than the 98 gr. I use would hold up well at quite a longer distances.

I like the looks. I think of the cals. offered the .32-20 would be the best. but then .25-20 would be good too. and if the 200 yd. game would be the most used .32-40 would fill the bill nice.

Exactly.....either the web page hasn't been updated ! I can't see them dropping that Rifle from the line up !!! I've got everything but that Little Rifle !!!!!

I have the Taylor model, twin triggers, 30" tapered octagon barrel and she is really sweet. Liked it so much I bought a Cimarron LW in 32-20 with single trigger. Never shot it. Sent to John Taylor for a rebarrel to 25-20 wcf, 26" taper octagon with same profile so fkrend goes on & put MVA B5 scope on it and she is sweet. Gonna shoot the heck out of it before get Lee Shaver put his 2# trigger job on it. You can do a lot with the 32-20 from mild to wild. Mine is accurate with a very very smooth bore. Enjoy.

Ol Deuce, what was the word from Uberti? Do they have a regular supply stream? I've heard there are wide gaps in shipments. If you can get one I think you'll like it.
