    Big bad magnums?

So you have your favorite handgun, the latest big, bad, magnum.

Time to put an end to all the arguments and squabbling.

WOW!!! An 88 Magnum! I want one! Would that be twice as bad as a 44 Mag or four times as bad?

Makes my 460 S&W sound kind of puny.

    No Magna-port or muzzle break!

You have to show your "man card" to buy one!

NOT for snow flakes or cup cakes!

This may be out of place here, but in the past I have been offered a pre '64 Remington 700, a S & W Trooper, and a friend said he had seen a 700 Magnum.

Those are some rare and hard to find firearms!!!

I had a guy tell me he was a Huey door gunner in 'Nam, and he used a 60 caliber MG.

I replied, "You mean an M60?"

"Yep, that was it, fired 60 caliber shells!"

I guess there are a lot of rare firearms out there!

My 500 S&W 15" Encore pistol thumps pretty good with heavy charges of H110 and 440gr boolits.

    No magnum's here. I do have a SA 1911 in .45acp which I don't consider a magnum.
Does require a fair supply of intestinal fortitude to shoot it well.

What I shoot the most is .22lr through Ruger Mk III 22/45's.

And I have a 9mm pretty much just to get me to my shotgun. Just in case.
And the shotgun is only 8-9 steps away. Leaning against my chest of drawers behind the bedroom door. On top of the chest is at least 200 rounds of various shotgun ammo. And the shotgun IS loaded. Although the action is partly open.

That to me is what pistols are for. .22's for giggles and snits, and shooting eyeballs out. Bigger stuff to get me to the shotgun. Once I'm there look the heck out.

I would have moved by now if my neighborhood was that bad.

I have some magnums, but I don't have anything like a custom made "88 Magnum!"

Some of you fella's have some guns that are pretty dang close, the S&W 500's, .454's, and that double barrel 12 gauge derringer!......

It's a 50 caliber. I use it to hunt buffaloes, up close. It's only legal in two states, and this ain't one of them!

Couple of good movies brought back up. I guess I'm going to see if I can find them. Just a .44 mag SBH Hunter and a OM 10.5" .357 Blackhawk. Well a couple of magnum rifles, but they don't really belong in this category.

I'm disappointed no one brought up the Magnum Research BFR.
