    Thanks everyone

For the knowledge you share here. I joined a couple years ago but never got moving on casting. All of a sudden I'm all in now.Three weeks os so ago, I scored two used but functional casting pots free. A Lee 10 pound bottom pour and a Lyman Mould Master. Both work great. The only problem was I only had molds for a .38/357 but no gun. I have a .45 ACP, but no molds. Studying here, I managed to pick up two new Lee two cavity molds, The Lee push through sizer, a 3 color powder paint kit from Smoke, a pencil set to check hardness, and a Goodwill toaster oven. All for under $100.00. Holy crap! I had no idea I could wind up casting and coating for so cheap. I had lead and tin and a big smelting pot already.

Less than three weeks from the start to pretty coated bullets.

Nuts! I just realized I'm typing this on the computer. The pictures are on my phone. I'm too lazy to re-type this, so I'll post the rest from the phone. Again, Thank You.

    Welcome to the addiction.

Hopefully, we won't see your family doing a intervention on that TV show.

It is a Lee 452-228-1R. The Semi is a Lee 452-200-SWC. Both two cavity. I used a mix that is around 10-11 BHN. The paint came from Smoke4320. Jet black, Signal blue, and traffic orange. Getting ready to size a few this morning to load and try out today if the weather holds.

Just spent some time in front of the Square Deal. Ran off 10 of each for a range test if it gets warmer than the 14 degrees it is here. Click image for larger version.
