I am interested in getting a 357 and getting it reamed and bored to 44-40/.429 1:36" twist
Why? Just do a 1:20 twist and then you won't have to worry.

    I prefer 1:36 for 200gr bullets, 1:20 for 240 or heavier

Anyone shoot one of these brass frame guns?
After reading this I called Henry and they say no 45 Colts only 45-70 for now.

I read all this. Then googled the Henry single shot. Saw a review in the American Hunter. The trigger was unfavorably compared to the CVA Scout, which I'd never heard of before. But considering the MSRP of the CVA vs. the Henry, and the lighter trigger of the CVA vs. the Henry, I will be looking at the CVA. Nine pound trigger - no thanks.
