Been in drought now for 6 years, the worst in living memory. Three surface dams are empty and trees dying etc. Last 60 days we have had just 30points of rain and every day over 95deg. To think I used to mow this area with the tractor just a few years ago.

15 F and about an inch of snow. Blowing like normal with a weather system entering, 20-25 mph.

Sunny and 32 degrees with a slight breeze.

You never know what weather you'll get this time of year. Could be sunny and in the 50's or 10 degrees with a foot of snow. Sometimes in the same week.

It was 13 degrees when I got off of work this morning at 6am. I left the stove off while I was at work so the house was a chilly 57 degrees when I got home. Having a glass of wine and surfing the web while it warms up. It's up to 63 now, lol.

Inside a balmy 69.6 degrees. Big pot of turkey bone broth soup going on the stove in 5 min.

Outside, tis winter with that horrid white stuff coming down. Not big fat flakes either, little drifty stuff.
31 degrees with a 30 mph north wind blowing. Wind chill puts it half way to zero. Good day to stay home, drink hot beverages, eat up the last of the turkey day feast and enjoy.

20* outside and it's FINALLY sunny! Got another short round of snow last night. Leaving the cabin a day early because a big dump of snow is expected to start tomorrow morning. And the wife insists we act like adults and instead of staying long enough to get snowed in for a couple more days!

I went to Mom and Dad's in Santa Barbara, CA for thanksgiving. Sunny for the most part with some sporadic rain. Back at the Nor CA house, they had wind so bad videos were posted of roofs blown off of commercial buildings. A friend's tree fell on her roof leaving a branch poking out of her roof. Back home in CO, several feet of snow, blowing wind and snow, then rain which partially melted to snow and that turned to sheet ice. Thank god the wife has the 4x4 back home.

Outside 34 and sunny, wind blowing 25 gusts to 40. Snow drifting across driveway again.

Inside 78 wood stove is warm and King Solomon's Mine is playing on the tube.

    Monsoons brewing. But no rain
    Dry electrical storms.
No rain in 10 months. Livestock just dying with survivors coming into town yards at night to find feed.
Over 100 degrees during the day and drops to 80 at night.
