    Kathie,

Range lead arrived with a grunt from the postmaster. Great packaging and a fine product. We are lucky to have your services available to us.

Guy's, this lady knows how to get the lead out!

    Kathie,

Received the range lead in great condition-- I've never seen such a packing job as you do. Outstanding. The lead looks great, REALLY clean. (Unlike some I bought from another source).

I'll be ordering again -- thanks! It was really nice doing business with you!

    Kathie,

Your lead is awesome! The way you packaged it, you could have put fresh eggs in with the lead and I doubt that they would've broken!! BY all means continue doing what you do!

    Kathie,

Received my lead earlier this week - looks great. The packages arrived in fine shape as well. My postman decided to shove two boxes in my mailbox. I'm lucky it's still standing!

===> Updated 3/7/2011: please refer to the top post (#1) for pricing information - thanks. I've included the link for your convenience.

    <=== end update 3/7/2011

I have around 600LBS of WW's to sort thru, then smelt. Not sure when this will be done since I do all smelting operations outside.

I will be picking up range lead next week, probably around 1500+ pounds. Will have to sift; and yield in ingots is in neighborhood of 60-70%. I've seen a steady decline in yield since April 2007.

I hope this answers patsher's and 340six's questions. And anybody else's.

Note: I have sent a copy of this to 344six's email address additionally.

    With kind regards to all,

    Kathie

I have been casting with alloy it is 96 PB, 3 antimony, 1 tin. in 9mm, 45 colt and 45acp and a few slow 38spl full wads.
They come out a little heavy but no leading would the range lead be better or the WW?

I am sorry, I don't have the expertise to answer your question as to what would be best. Perhaps someone on the forum will answer you. I can send you a PDF document in regard to information I have gathered pertaining WW vs Range Lead, and what not..... if you send me a PM with your email address, I will send to you the information.

I do know that Bullshop has used my Range Lead without any problems, and he is a custom bullet caster. And other people on the forum have used my clipon WW without a problem too. What a dilemma! I don't cast boolits, so again, I can't tell you what to do in your particular situation. But if you decide to buy lead, hopefully you will try some of mine. Thanks!

    Take care!

For what it's worth, my last batch of wheelweights, new takeoffs from cars, was a bit harder than Kathie's last batch of range lead I bought. I like my lead a little softer as I shoot BP so her range lead works out great for me, so you might want to go with her WW's. I don't think any of her lead will have 3% antimony, though, might want to add some hardened shot gun shot? Or some linotype if you have any.

I sent the Money order out today for the 2 boxes of WW lead.
I only have 53 pounds here now and a 20 pound pot on the way. So I am pleased as punch to get more.
Cold and rain here so the indoor range is 10 min away

    Kathie,

I received a box of clip-on WW's from you last week. Just wanted to say that the ingots look great, and your packaging job is top-notch! I'll definitely be back for more in the future. Keep up the EXCELLENT work!

Up for sale: ingots cast from stick-on WW's

    Greetings everyone,

First off, I thank all of you who have taken the time to post feedback for me, both in this thread and my feedback thread. THANKS!!!!

As an aside, I have about 1600 pounds of raw WW's sorted waiting to be cast - IF ever the warmer weather comes around again. We must have gotten around 2 feet of snow within 24 hour period yesterday into today (1/26/11). Will most likely being doing a range cleanout (range hasn't been cleaned for a couple of years) next week, so I suspect I will fetch about 2.5 tons.

    Stay tuned........

    With kind regards to all,

    ~ Kathie
