Does anyone have targets from good paper patched loads to show?

Does anyone have any targets from really good paper patched loads they would like to show us? I did a search, but everything that came up were from old threads, and the links to the photos no-longer worked. Please post some current photos and load data, if you would be so kind.

    Thanks,

I'm trying to attach a jpg target to this email, but it's not working. I'll keep trying.

Here's a pretty good 1 ,it was at just about all that the cartridge would do. This was during load development and is a pretty hot load don't use it in a 6.8 Remington even a SPCII .

45/90, Goex 'Cartridge', 550 grain bullet, tang sight and globe front.
    100, 200, and 300 yards ...

    Added:
I remember having a target shot at 600 yards, but can't find a saved copy on my computer.
However, it is in this old post ...

This is a 215gr ACWW PP from a TC contender barrel in .35 Rem. For 100% load density, I used 40gr of H414, with 4gr of wc860 as filler, with a cardboard wad to protect the base from peening.

At ~85 yards, scoped, off shooting sticks with a variable crosswind it held an inch in elevation and about 3.5" in windage. I never had a chance to shoot it off a bench or over a chrony, but it appears promising; quickload says it's about 1700fps with a pretty stubby barrel.

I have a target somewhere with an almost acceptable group. Not good though but it will work for hunting bigger animals and will have enough power for the job. But it's not good so I won't look for it. I am however enjoying seeing those good groups again.

I did once have a rough target with a very impressive group size which I never kept or photographed. I wish I had. Perhaps that would be a good motivation to reproduce it (but with a different gun since that one is no more).

P.S. I have a soft spot for the 35 Remington. It seems such a well balanced cartridge plus my Dad used to hunt with one (even taking African Cape buffalo with it!) It's also a very handsome cartridge loaded with those paper patched boolits. Others have also had very good results with it with PP.

Here are a couple that turned out pretty good. They don't happen every time I shoot, but they do happen.

This target I shot at 130 yards using the .44-77 filing the front blade sight down getting ready for a Buffalo hunt.
The bullet was a 485 gr and shot with 73 gr of 2F OE Blk powder. And the barrel sights are the Lawrence rear and a blade front.

This target was shot with the .44-75 Ballard chamber in a CPA rifle at 200 yards using the tang and globe front sight. The powder load was 84 gr of 2F OE Blk. with a 507 gr KAL elliptical bullet

This two group target was shot at 200 yds with the MVA tang and wind gauge front. I don't recall for sure if the rifle was the .50-90 for sure but I think it was. The info was lost on the old computer.

This target was shot @ 200 yards with the scoped .45-90 using Goex 2F. This was I wonder if this full wad cutter will shoot

The shell on the left is the .44-75 and the right is the .44-77

got nothing much but put this up anyway.
    30-30
    29 grains 2206h 311446 sized down.
    only 4 shots thou .Usually
    do 5 -10 shots groups.
Bout good as it gets for me.
On par my best pb gc and j word stuff so its about probably good as I'm probably gunna get anyway.

most run into @ the 1.5" some times I get near moa and a few times have cracked it but never consistently.
I always get those damned flyers.
If I could shoot 7 and pick out me best 5 I might get some where.
For now I have excuses and boy have I got some doozies

That's not bad Barra! I take the view that if four will go into that group then why not a fifth and a sixth?

They normally do but I ran out of crackers.
Wanna stretch things out to 2 hundred. There only running at 1950 fps last time I put them over a clock but I can't expect more from this gun.
Still a softish alloy oughta do something when it gets there.

My other passion is pb low velocity stuff.
