The BPI slug loading manual has load data for that slug. Not sure if there are recipes using BD or not, I'd have to check.

You might check their Load of the Week archive as well. And the Alliant Powder reloading info.

What hulls and primers do you have.

Hoping to find some load data for this with HS-6 myself. Just ordered the Slug manual ( and the Coyote manual) but it'll be a week before it arrives. sigh...

You're welcom marten, I was in the same boat as you with no data so I purchased the BPI slug loading book. It seems when it comes to loading slugs there's not an abundant amount of data out there, at least not free on the internet.

Marten the biggest factor that I found for my slug loading is consistant wad pressure, but I'm using a Foster type slug that I swag and the wads are fiber wads, nitro cards, and plastic powder seals, roll crimp. My shotgun is a Browning BPS with the rifled slug barrel.

If you use different brand hulls as long as the wad depths are the same I don't see much difference in the load. I used Cheddites with the 16mm high brass/steel heads. If you go with RIO's but that primer hole swage from BPI it works great and on all brand loose primer holes. It's fairly cheap and a good investment if you reload shotshells often.

Hi Marten, sorry to resurrect an old thread. How did you get on with the Gualandi DGS / Borra?

    Best wishes,

    Scrummy
