This might help for the light. http://www.bulbconnection.com/ViewSI...1804/item.html

Well for the street I like the 468 and 496. If you have the funds I really like the 604CI lol. But for street Duty it is hard to beat the Ole 468 CI as more than that is hard to put on the ground for street Duty.

Eventually before I die lol. I hope to put this 600HP 468CI in my 73 Corvette.

    Sorry for the clutter lol.

What I find funny is all of these Magazine readers that think you can not make HP with pretty much stock parts. On my little 468CI I have factory Heads just installed 2.19In 1.88 Ex with some porting work and bowl work. Matched Vic Jr Intake and will run a simple Holley 850DP. And yes the Cam is a Solid since Big Blocks do not like Hyd at higher rpm's mainly due to valve train weight. But this is a shooting forum so I am not going to go nuts here lol.

As a former owner of an engine machine shop, you are dead on with your comment.
Car magazines are to sell parts and that is it.

Yep the ones that never made it to the bench lol.

Many years ago I was involved with the building of this little 705CI which was pretty much ground breaking at the time since I was kinda used to stroker motors at the time. But it was not easy.http://www.vintageair.com/media/cool200_250k.ASF

I am also going with a Turbo 400 but with some mods and full manual valve body with a 3000 stahl and 3.73 gears. The auto is to try and save my IRS for awhile even though I have been through it all lol. 6 U joints is no fun lol.

Are those deer legs hanging on the wall there? Something to gnaw on during reloading sessions?

Apparently, many of us like to "get the lead out" of the cars and into our firearms

After the reloading on the bench this is used to haul the guns and ammo to the shooting range.

Ya'll can start a car picture thread down in off topic if you guys want, this thread is for loading bench pctures. I'm digging the car pictures, but not everyone is (yes, we actually got a complaint).
