So, Not just handguns, but ANY firearms, what would you like to see again? I will start.

Remington "Nylon" 77 and 66 models.
    Winchester 21 double shotgun.
    Remington 40X target rifles
Pre 64 magnum action (H&H length) winchesters

If you would like to include a story of why you would like to see these again or share a memory, I would like to hear about it!
Remington 40X rifles are still available from Remington. One just needs to spend the bucks.

Μολὼν λαβέ; approximate Classical Greek pronunciation [molɔ̀ːn labé], Modern Greek [moˈlon laˈve]), meaning "Come and take them" is a classical expression of defiance reportedly by King Leonidas in response to the Persian army's demand that the Spartans surrender their weapons at the Battle of Thermopylae.

    Savage model 24 in .22 over .410, and .222 over 20 gauge.

The closest thing to a new Garand is the CMP Special grade that has a new barrel, new stock, and metal is refinished. It looks like a brand new gun. Now available in either .30-06 or .308 caliber.

I thought there was a company that was making new production SMLEs in 308 NATO.
I know I saw it somewhere last year.
They wanted $750 for a new one, so maybe they went under since then?

Never seen such a monster and probably never will.
I have seen 30Rd. magazines though.

I want to see the Remington Model 8 or 81 brought back. Love the old spring poles and all the mechanical noise that long recoil action makes, and they make such nice, neat piles of the brass right by the receiver.

    Ruger 44 deerfield carbine

the pc9 and pc40 were nice but it is time for a carbine that uses the sr40 and sr9 mags with the mag in the grip

so now I have started inventing new guns

You read right, 30 rounds of 35 remington as fast as you can pull the trigger. Very accurate and it likes cast lead boolits. The gun has the regular magazine hard mounted to it, but the big one is packed away safe somewhere.
I keep hoping that gun will be under my Christmas tree some year, but so far, that fat sucker at the north pole just aint gettin the message!

someone made them, i talked my pop into a 45 colt one some years back.
the might not even make them anymore.
i bought a taurus one and didn't have it a week.

since i am here,i'd just like to see modern versions of classic rifles be made with some quality and effort, and made in something other than 44 mag,357,and 45 colt type rounds.
you know a little class and maybe not so much profit margin.

It seems like I read somewhere that those were made for law enforcement back in the day. As I recall the article said Frank Hamer's bunch had a couple during the Bonnie & Clyde shootout.

That is correct according to my dad. He told over and over growing up that that was the same style gun that they used to shoot up Bonnie and Clyde.
I actually got to see the Bonnie and Clyde car with my own eyes in a museum in Arizona and it certainly had a bunch of 35 caliber holes along with the 45s.

A model 8 with 30 rounds would be a formidable weapon indeed.

I'd love to see the big Winchester model 86 and the sweet shooting Winchester model 52 target. Oh and all the Marlin lever guns without that stupid useless cross bolt safety!!!

Couldn't agree more, Bob. I have always liked the looks of the BARs that I have seen, but never held one. Then Dad says Come Over and on his porch there is a new pelican case as big as I am and almost as heavy. Inside is a BRAND NEW BAR!!! Lemme tell you guys something...... there is a REASON that case has wheels. I did not weigh it, but I think that BAR weighs around 25 pounds without the mag, bipod, or carry handle.
I came into this world kicking, screaming, and covered in someone elses blood. I plan to go out the same way.
