Help ID my lead score, please

At a garage sale yesterday I scored 2 thirty pound chunks of lead. The guy said his father-in-law used to work in a foundry.

They are 4.5" in diameter and 6" long w/ a truncated cone on one end. They have a ~0.5" hole in the bottom that extends in for several inches.

I know my description is incomplete at best, and pictures aren't possible right now.

    Any ideas?

    Best part -- $5 each

    Do they look like this?

If so, you have the core shield of a tech-99m medical generator. They ship from the NRU in Canada to radio pharmacies throughout the world, though mostly North America. They initially contain Moly-99 which is used to make the tech-99m.

They are 96% lead, 3% antimony and 1% tin, and make great bullets.
