    WW alloy

If I have 100lbs of wheel weight ingots and want to
add 2% tin to the mix, this would be 4lbs of 50/50
solder. Is this correct even knowing there is a difference
in density between lead and tin? Or is it close enough
    for what I want?

    Thanks for your help.

Yes that should put you where you want. Just remember to flux it in, it'll be fine...

If my calculations are correct and your measurements accurate, you'll end up with 104 pounds of alloy with 1.923% tin...... certainly close enough.

For exactly 2% tin, add the 4 pounds of solder to 96 pounds of WW.

If you're just adding the tin to help with fill out, you might want to try 1% first.
Sometimes that is enough to get good fill out with many moulds.
You can always add more tin if needed.

With regards to gun control in this country, everyone should be asking themselves one question:
What is it that this government feels they need to do, but can't do, unless the citizens of this nation are first disarmed?
(I seriously doubt you can come up with any plausible answers that you will like...)

I agree. If they are clipon ww, they should cast fine as is. If they are mixed tape & clipon, you might want to add 1% tin to help fillout, especially w/ smaller diameter bullets.
