    PP a71/84 Mauser

I think I know the answer but wanted to hear from some one with more knowledge than me.
    The lands are .434
    The grooves are .449
I have some boolits I have sized to .434 and want to PP them.
The ones I have done run out at .449 with printer paper 2 wraps.
Is it possible to use 3 wraps of .0003 lined paper.
It would come out to .452 and size it back to .449 or .450
    Crazy or feasable?
better to stay with 2 wraps of computer paper and run through .449 sizer to smooth any wrincles?

Sounds to me like you are ready to lube and load! If you have patched correctly there will be no wrinkles to iron out.
45 AUTO! Because having to shoot someone twice is just silly!

You may run into chambering problems if your boolits are too big. My 71/84 will barely accept a .448" slug seated in a B.E.L.L case, any bigger and I would have to do some neck turning on the cases. Good thing my groove diam. matches my boolit!
Good luck, I would like to hear how your experiments turn out.

My 71/84 won't chamber .446 bullet in Betrem brass. Hope your combination matchs your chamber.Seems that these rifles were chambered for under sized bullets releying on bullet upsetto fill bore.Anyway your lucky iif your chamber is oversize. Would like to hear how it turns out.
