"Joined Dates" are deceiving if you factor-in "lurk" dates.
That's nice. You're actually using BP in the rifle? 86gr lead bullets? If so I gotta ask how the accuracy is with the BP. Thanks, LP
I didn't know what I was getting into when i bought this rifle.
I didn't know the chamber was toast. Accuracy was not good.
After the fact, researching I read about original BP 25-20Win barrels being replaced back in the 70's. This barrel fit that description.
After humming and hawing, I saved up some cash and had a new 22" barrel installed. H322 & Hornady #2510, 60gr FP shoot like a laser.
AFAIK this rifle is on it's third barrel.
