2924 is a LONG DAMN time from now...glad I got my 8 pounds when I did...
2924 - That would mean they are not making it any more.....
I’ve been working off an 8 lb jug for 4 years in 12 ga. If you are loading 12 ga there are other powders that work fine. For 1 1/8 oz loads 700x, Titewad, and Longshot are more readily available.

Looking at what powder I can find I am going to give winchester WST a try.
Will need a new NEC powder bushing. I think 3 pounds of WST might get me
through 2023.
I have enough to last that long. I was lucky enough to get some while it was available.
The sooner I fall behind...the more time I have to catch up with
In today's market a hand-loader might want to be flexible in regards to what components they "like/only use/must have" when replenishing inventory and appreciate what they can find and not what they want until the supply chain fills up from end-to-end. I've been able to locate powder but no exactly the most modern super performance variety. Came across Herco recently and it was priced well. Using it in 9mm with excellent results and will double up in medium handgun and heavy shotgun if needed. Came across Green Dot in place of Clays and LGS always has Nitro 100 and that works for lighter shot charges which works for me. In a pinch Nitro 100 and Green Dot also work well in handguns. Granted not top velocity or top accuracy but allows for continued practice. Being resourceful these times is helpful. Pick up a copy of Propellant Profiles as it covers decades of propellant reviews and uses. Really good when you come across lesser known powders or out of production powder. Going bang is just fine as the few clay pigeons missed and paper punched and ringing steel have no idea or care what powder was used.
