W Va antlerless season, kickoff to deer season

Beautiful weather this week in central West Virginia, throw in a little deer hunting and it makes it even better.
    C. Sharps, 50-90 with a 490 grain paper patched bullet.

    That'll make some GOOD sausage!
Got a .22 .30 .32 .357 .38 .40 .41 .44 .45 .480 or .500 S&W cylinder that needs throats honed? 9mm, 10mm/40S&W, 45 ACP pistol barrel that won't "plunk" your handloads? 480 Ruger or 475 Linebaugh cylinder that needs the "step" reamed to 6° 30min chamfer? The bullet is an Accurate 50-470T. No idea as to velocity, shot my chronograph in the spring and haven't replaced it yet. As to autopsy..... Head shot at thirty yards. No pictures, but you could park a canoe in the path the bullet made.

Those C. Sharps rifles are just a pure pleasure to gaze on. Having a deer as its ground cloth is even better. That 50/90 has to pack a wallop but good with a 470 grain boolit. My 355 grain pure lead conical out of the muzzleloader is pretty light compared to that cartridge. Image 3 deer standing together would have a hard time stopping that freight train.
    Thanks for sharing.
