Good outcome from Taurus/Rossi factory repair

Wife bought a used Rossi Circuit Judge carbine on 07/18/2022 and on the first time shooting it had one cylinder that the brass ruptured and stuck in the cylinder,
in the process of removing it I broke one ear off the ejector star. I called Rossi in Georgia and got instructions to send it in and was told they would let me know the cost to repair.
After a week I was told the cylinder would need to be replace and they would do it under warranty!! Well got a call today and was told the frame was out of specs (maybe bent)
and they are going to replace the firearm for free (.45 long colt).
On checking the serial number history, I found out the carbine was originally sold in 2012! I guess their lifetime warranty is really for the lifetime of the firearm.
This is the first time in my life (72 years old) that I lucked out with any kind of firearm warranty, so "Kudos" to Tarus/Rossi company. THANK YOU.
PS: The factory wood on the rifle we sent in was very pretty, so asked if I could get it to install on the replacement rifle if that stock was not as nice looking
and was told that YES, they would send it back to me!!

The one time I had to use Taurus/Rossi customer service they did me right. I hope that is usually the case these days.

I had great luck with my 454 Raging Bull. The chambers were egged a little and would stick brass. I got it back in 2 weeks with a new cylinder and an action job, no cost...
